There is a 7.5-ton weight limit on all containers. Additional charges will apply to containers that are overfull, exceed the weight limit or contain large appliances. There is a fee for roll-top covers for Fremont businesses. For health and sanitation reasons, putrescible wastes may not be disposed in uncovered debris boxes.

The following Construction & Demolition materials are recyclable:
- Acoustic ceiling tiles, insulation (except asbestos)
- Wood: timber (no telephone poles), structural wood, shelving, plywood, shingles, shakes
- Metals: posts, sheets, equipment (drained of gases/fluids), window frames, lath, scrap (pieces must weigh less than 500 pounds each and fit loosely in box)
- Electrical and structural cables
- Glass
- Concrete, mortar, rebar
- Dirt mixed with rock and small concrete (less than 12 inches), gravel
- Aggregates
- Piping: PVC, metal, concrete, clay, ceramic (4 feet or shorter, less than 2 feet in diameter)
- Plywood, pallets, tar paper, stucco, sheet rock (drywall)
- Cardboard
- Soil strippings (high-organic material from land stripping), sod
- Tree limbs, trunks, roots
